This tour includes highlights of the South of Viet Nam. You will begin to explore Cu Chi tunnels-an underground labyrinth of passageways and visit the beautiful Cao Dai Temple in TayNinh and partake in the noontime prayer service. Next you take a Mekong Delta trip, visit Can Tho- Ben Tre, Cai Rang floating market. On another day trip, you have a time to visit Ho Chi Minh city, the Chinatown, BinhTay market and ThienHau Temple.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival (no meal)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, The driver pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Free time and easy.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh- Cu Chi Tunnels- Tay Ninh (meals incl: B/ L)
After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels -an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime.
Next you will visit the beautiful Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh and partake in the noontime prayer service. This large and colorful compound is home to the hybrid religion founded in the 1920s: Caodaism, which combines elements of Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in order to promote peace. Have lunch in TayNinh and return to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh- My Tho- Ben Tre- Can Tho (meals incl: B/ L/ D)
Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrival at My Tho, visit VinhTrang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel (family home-stay with dinner can be arranged on request).

Day 4: Can Tho- Chau Doc- Tra Su Sanctuary (meals incl: B/ L/ D)
Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the liveliest in the whole religion.
Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Proceed to Chau Doc, continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds. On the way back stop by to visit Sam Mountain, the Cave pagoda (if time permitted).
Back to the Town, hotel check in.

Day 5: Chau Doc- Ho Chi Minh (meals incl: B/ L)
After breakfast, take a nice boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish in their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority with their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque. Trip back to Ho Chi Minh city. End at the office.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh Full day city tour (meals incl: B/ L)
Breakfast at your hotel.
Morning: 08:00 am to noon time
Start the trip for exploring the great atmosphere around of lively China town. Get into the rhythm of this busiest and colorful scenes of BinhTay market and ThienHau Temple in the morning. We then visit the War Remnants Museum. Enjoy Beef Noodle for lunch.
Afternoon: 13:30 to 16:30 pm
Start the trip at travel office for visiting Reunification palace which was the residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975. Continue seeing some impressive French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. After visiting the City Hall, take a break-time at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sales. Return to District 1.Tour ends

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh Departure (meal incl: B)

Today is free at your leisure for last minute shopping or sight-seeing before driving to the airport to catch your departure flight home.
