Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (No Meal)
Welcome to Hanoi! You will be met at the airport and transferred to hotel in Hanoi. Renowned as the “Paris of the East”, Hanoi is one of Asia’s most delightful cities. Rich in culture and history this diverse city draws its influences from both French and Chinese culture. The rest of day is yours to enjoy Check in hotel and overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Ha giang (B/L/-)
Breakfast at the hotel 8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City 08.45:Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century. 09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas… Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area 11.15: Visit Vietnam EthnologyMuseum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam Special Note :we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays 12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes. 14.00-14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century 15.15:Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton 16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes. Back to hotel. 18:30 to 19:00 Pick you up at your hotel to leave Ha Giang Overnight on the bus
Day 3: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Du Gia, approx. 120 km drive (B/L/D)
After some breakfast, we go out on ‘Road of Happiness’ and start driving north out of Ha Giang City. We climb up the Quan Ba mountain pass and enter the Dong Van Geopark and reach the Heaven’s Gate and pass the Fairy Hills. In or around the small town of Tam Son we find our lunch. Thereafter we venture deep into Ha Giang mountains and reach the picturesque village of Du Gia. Here we will stay with anethnic minority family at their homestay. We will have dinner and breakfast with the family. (Day includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: Du Gia – MeoVac – (Ma Pi Leng) – Dong Van – Lung Cu – Dong Van, approx. 110 to 150 km drive (B/L/D)
We say thanks to the family of the homestay and head north, passing some of the most magnificent mountain passes you will ever have seen, pass the town of MeoVac (where we take lunch) and move up the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass before reaching Dong Van, the most northern town in Vietnam. Depending on season (days are very short in December – February) and weather we may continue up to Lung Cu, the most northern point of Vietnam. The Lung Cu Flag Tower can be climbed for stunning views. Back to Dong Van where we take into a hotel or homestay as agreed for the tour. Maybe a Hot Pot for dinner?! (Day includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5: Dong Van – Sa Phin – Yen Minh – Tam Son – Ha Giang City, approx. 150 km drive (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we start our journey south. Soon we reach Sa Phin where we find the one-hundred-year-old palace ofVuongChinhDuc– the King of H’mong people. We go down the Highland of Stone and reach Yen Minh where we take lunch and then climb a mountain pass covered in pine forest and sweeping rice terraces along our drive. Down to the Song La river valley until the road takes us up to Tam Son, over the Quan Ba mountain pass and back to Ha Giang. Day 6: Hanoi – Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L)
07h30 – 8h00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province 09h15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax 10h30: Visit Hoa Lư ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty 11h45: Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat,fish, chicken, and fried rice…Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch 13h00: Visit Tam Cocby 1.5-hour bamboo boat. You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky, and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece thatthe Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land” 15h00: Continue the tour for 45 mins - cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people. 16h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi 18h00: Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi Overnight in Hanoi
Day 7: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Sung Sot Cave and Titop island (B/L/D)
Pick up at 8:00 to 8:30 AM at the lobby 11:30 -12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau Marina.Welcome aboard the cruise. Meet the captain, crew and join us for welcome drink as we tell you about life onboard. Check into your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind. Served a delectable lunch while cruising ahead to Ha Long Bay Explore the Surprising Cave – the most beautiful cave in Ha long Bay. It is one of the widest grottoes in Ha Long Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the Cruise, We will take you to visit the Titop Island – swimming Climbing up to the Top of the Island – take the best view of Halong Bay in the Summer time Continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way. After that, come back to the boat, enjoy the Sunset Party on sundeck – Cooking Class Evening Relaxing: Dinner is served.
